This is one of my peices that I am putting into my art portfolio. I have it for awhile..I just got around to scanning it . Anyway, this was done awhile back when I was in my Drawing and Painting 1 class last semester. I had to draw a animal from a picture and color it in Prismacolor watercolor pencils and I chose a picture I found on the internet of my favorite animal, the Red Panda!!! . I liked this because of the way I colored it, I used so many diffrent colors in it, if you cannot tell. And I used a white charcoal pencil to blend colors in, like on the ears and the tail. For the background I just used a brown Prismacolor watercolor pencil and added water to it to make it look faded. I was going to add water to the panda but my art teacher told me not to because it would ruin the detail put into it. My favorite part of the picture was kind of cut out..the right paw. It's because I like the way I drew whe arm and the claws, but you cannot really see it because the scanner was not big enough to fit the picture in it. Comments are most welcome on this.
