I need a new journal up in here..

I've been working with a new program in my computer graphics class in college. It's called Corel Painter. I've seen a lot of artists use this program. And so far, it doesn't seem that bad, since I am very familiar with Photoshop and all. A lot of the things are similar, except that painter has a HUGE library of brushes to use..hence the word 'painter' for the program name. You paint your artwork

It's a really fun program so far, I need to get better at it. But I have always loved painting ever since High School. So I will really benefit from this class.

I'm also refreshing myself on my film skills. I knew a lot about film and recording while in High School and at the Career Center. But taking this intro to film class really blew my mind at first, since I forgot a lot of important points to film. It's fun though. I love my class, and the new programs I am learning how to use.

I need to get back into the rutt of actually doing traditonal work. I can't remember the last time I have sat down and drew something worthwhile on a good piece of paper (other than doodling in class.) Since a majority of my time is spent on the computer(Playing Guild Wars, lol) I usually draw up my stuff on open canvas while I am at home.

In life outside of school, nothing too exciting is going on, other than working and playing Guild Wars. Though I am excited for Saturday. My boyfriend and I's 3 year anniversary. Gonna go see Pan's Labyrinth with some friends. Anyone seen it? Is it good?

Ack, pointless journal. Ohh well
